By accessing or using the Payout website or app, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of the United States to use the Services.
3. The Service
Payout is a settlement discovery and claim-filing platform. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice. All claim payments are issued directly by the court-appointed settlement administrator.
4. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for any activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to file false claims, impersonate others, or attempt to defraud any settlement administrator or class. Violation may result in account termination and referral to authorities.
6. Fees
Payout is free for consumers. We may earn fees from law-firm partners or settlement administrators in some cases. You always retain 100% of any payment issued by a settlement administrator.
7. No legal advice
Information on the Services is for general informational purposes only and is not legal advice. For legal advice, consult an attorney licensed in your jurisdiction.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE ELIGIBILITY, APPROVAL, OR PAYMENT OF ANY CLAIM.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Payout's total liability arising out of these Terms shall not exceed one hundred dollars ($100).
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
